Description
A small, lapel-sized Robin pin badge, handcrafted from needle-felted wool and finished with my signature metal zip edging.
Using wool roving and a single needle, I shape each piece by hand before adding the zip edge, giving a crisp outline, gentle structure and a subtle glint in the light. The eye bead is carefully stitched in place, bringing each little bird to life.
Lightweight, soft and tactile, this smaller size is perfect for everyday wear – easy to pin onto jackets, jumpers, hats, bags or lanyards.
Robins are loved not only at Christmas, but all year round as symbols of hope, comfort and remembrance. For many people, they bring happy memories and are seen as a comforting reminder of someone special.
In folklore, Robins have long been associated with protection and resilience, with tales stretching back to Norse mythology where they were believed to offer shelter from storms and lightning.
Its compact size also makes it ideal as a thoughtful letterbox gift, easily popped into an envelope and posted as a large letter.
Each brooch is handmade in my Cheshire studio and packaged on a presentation card, making every piece completely one of a kind.
