A handmade bee brooch, carefully needle felted using wool roving and a single needle.
Each piece is carefully needle felted using wool roving and a single needle, then finished with my signature metal zip edging. This creates a crisp outline, gentle structure and a subtle glint in the light, while keeping the brooch soft and tactile.
With its rounded shape, soft texture and gently smiling expression, this little bee has a cheerful, characterful feel, with it’s hand stitched smile and shiny bead eye – a small piece designed to bring a touch of joy to everyday wear.
Inspired by garden wildlife, the design balances bold colour with simple stitched detail, creating a playful yet considered finish.

Each piece is completely handmade by me in my Cheshire studio, so no two are ever exactly the same.
