“Songbird” is a professionally printed greeting card featuring my original hand needle-felted textile artwork.
The design shows a colourful imagined songbird perched among leaves and berries, with bright tones and hand embroidered detail bringing a lively, uplifting feel to the piece. Inspired by birdsong and the changing colours of the seasons, it captures a simple moment of energy and movement in nature.
Each original piece is created using vibrant wool and my signature zip edging, with every element made individually and carefully arranged to create real depth and subtle shadow. The original textile artwork is created at a larger scale, allowing for fine detail and hand embroidery before being professionally photographed and printed onto high-quality card, capturing the texture and crisp detail of the original.
The card is blank inside, making it suitable for any occasion — from birthdays and thank yous to simple notes to keep in touch.
