A handmade ladybird brooch, carefully needle felted using wool roving and a single needle.
Each piece is carefully needle felted using wool roving and a single needle, then finished with embroidered French knot spots, hand sewn bead eyes, delicate wire antennae and my signature metal zip edging. This creates a crisp outline, gentle structure and a subtle glint in the light, while keeping the brooch soft and tactile.
With its rounded shape, bright red wings and wide-eyed expression, this cheerful little ladybird is full of personality. The combination of textured French knot spots, shiny bead eyes and playful wire antennae brings the design to life, making it a charming piece to wear every day.
