A handmade rainbow flower brooch, created using a vibrant mix of coloured wool to form a bold, playful floral design.
Each piece is carefully needle felted using wool roving and a single needle, then finished with my signature metal zip edging. This creates a crisp outline, gentle structure and a subtle glint in the light, while keeping the brooch soft and tactile.
Blending shades of orange, lime green, turquoise, pink, grey, hot pink and deep claret red, this flower brooch is designed to complement almost any outfit. The carefully balanced colour palette creates endless colour combinations, making it surprisingly easy to wear and ensuring there’s nearly always a shade that ties in beautifully with what you’re wearing.
The Rainbow Flower was the very first brooch I designed and, years later, it’s still one of my most popular. Drawing on my background in textile design and colour theory, I created a carefully balanced palette that works with an incredible range of outfits. It’s become my hardest-working brooch because there’s almost always a colour that complements what you’re wearing, making it the piece many customers reach for time and time again.
